Welcome to Clydesite & TugTalk
The Clyde Shipping & Shipbuilding Site plus!

JIMMY MONSON
1929 - 2009

Seen here in his Merchant Navy uniform with his sweetheart Patsy on the occasion of their marriage.

Mr Monson will be missed by all of us here on Clydesite. He was a stalwart of the site and made our discussion board Foghorn! all his own!

May you sail forever more Jimmy, reunited again with your love. You leave us with fond memories and a lovely family.

From your 'Clydesite Family'

A collection of websites that mainly centre on maritime matters on the Clyde, UK, Europe and around the World, plus the renowned TugTalk, the premier community website for all involved in tugs and towage.

New for 2009:

All of our community sites are now FREE TO JOIN! - Lower operating costs now mean you do not need to subscribe to any of our resources. Simply apply for registration here and if accepted you will be sent your log in for Clydesite's boards on Clyde Shipping, Bristol Channel, Warships, Classic Cars, Aviation, Tugs and general shipping interests.

STOP PRESS! - Just added, Thames: We have just added the Thames as an area of interest in our family of sites. If you have an interest in the maritime aspects of the River Thames - past and present - our new board could be just the right place for you!
