Remarks: Named on launch by Mrs McLaren Brown, wife of the owner's European agent.
Passengers carried in two classes; 520 cabin class and 1200 third class. She had thirty two lifeboats, of which one was motorised.
Maiden voyage 7 Oct 1914, sister to the METAGAMA.
Torpedoed and sunk by UB87 on 9 Sept 1918, 52 miles off Daunt's Rock, Co Cork, Ireland, 45 lives lost.
