Remarks: One of two sisters, the other being CEDARBANK, both share more than the same owners, builders and dimensions. They also shared the same bad luck with fire! At Santa Rosalia she caught fire and had to be scuttled. In 1893 the same fate had happened to her sister! Both ships were raised again. Only four months later she stranded on the same spot. She was sold on and had various owners, but war ended her remarkable life when a mine hit her off Jutland. All but seven of her crew were lost.
