Saw service as a minesweeper, hospital vessel and a troop transport, going as far as the White Sea during WW1. In the twenties she operated out of Chatham and Sheerness. Converted to oil burning in 1930. Returned to Great Yarmouth routes in 1937. Hospital ship in the Thames in Second World War. Cruises from Torquay in 1947 onwards, but due to her poor condition was refused passenger certificate in 1949.
