An atmospheric misty December morning at the James Watt Dock in Greenock.
Early morning calm at Gourock looking across Gourock Bay.

Yon Bonnie Banks

The Famed Kyles of Bute
Loch Lomond and The Maid of The Loch and Ben Lomond from the National Park Gateway Centre Loch Lomond Shores. The beautiful Kyles of Bute looking South from the viewpoint on the road (B8003) to the lovely wee village of Tighnabruaich.

Autumnal Inveraray

Clyde Colours
The bridge at Inverary at the end of October with the autumnal colours still cladding the background. The mountains of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are afire at sunset as a lone yacht sails up the Clyde off Roseneath Castle.

Dramatic Light

The Kyles
After the rain. As the clouds part the sun makes a brief light show over the Clyde at Gourock and the hills of Argyll. Looking West over the narrows in the Kyles of Bute with the Isle of Bute on the right. The Paddle Steamer Waverley cruises through the Kyles, no doubt the best way to enjoy this scenery.
