Status: Torpedoed & Sunk - 16/12/1942

Remarks: Whilst under command of Capt J Davidson, she was sunk by Uboat 350 miles of Cape San Roque, Brazil. Out of her crew of 81, 66, including her captain, were killed.

boat 96 after departing New York on the 12th December about 400 miles west of the Orkneys. 16 lives lost, 154 rescued.
